DESCRIPTION:17th March 2024\nThe route is fast\, flat and suitable for new and regular runners alike. Running right through the heart of this beautiful world heritage city\, past iconic buildings and taking in both sides of the river Avon\, the route gives runners a great opportunity to push for a personal best time. DESCRIPTION:Wear Wellies Day \nThursday 29th February 2024 (or pick a date to suit you!) \nGet your friends\, family\, colleagues and students to take part in our Wear Wellies Day and raise money for Winston’s Wish simply by wearing your favourite wellies! \nUnlike adults\, who stay with their grief\, children often jump in and out of their grief. We describe this journey as ‘puddle jumping’. This means that they may initially be upset about their loss but my then appear to be fine for a period of time and then become upset again\, and so on. This can be very confusing for both children and the adults who care for them. \nConversations can allow children to express their emotions; be it sadness\, anger\, joy or fear. By opening up these important conversations about death we can allow children who are grieving to ‘puddle jump’ while understanding their mixed emotions. \nThat’s why we’re asking schools\, community groups and businesses to join us for a day of fun. \nSign up to take part by filling in the form below and we’ll send you a fundraising pack with everything you’ll need to get started.
